Hey. My name is Giovanni Ferrari Wolfram. I have a BA in Sociology from Kenyon College and I am currently an MFA candidate in creative nonfiction at Oregon State University. Don’t let my handsome sweaty passport photos fool you: I have a mullet now. And despite being late to the game, I feel like I’m killing it.
I’m originally from New York and I have taught elementary and middle school in the Bronx and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Now, I teach writing to college students in Corvallis, OR.
I write too. I have an essay called “Father Poem” coming out in the Spring 2026 issue of The Florida Review as the runner-up in their annual essay contest. I’m interested in pop culture media, mental illness, and identity. Also, I strongly believe that Daffy Duck is the greatest fictional character of all time.
